Kate Adams, general counsel since 2017, will retire late next year and transition duties to Jennifer Newstead, who joins from Meta as general counsel on March 1, 2026. Newstead will oversee both Legal and Government Affairs and brings extensive government and private-sector experience, including roles at the Department of State, White House OMB, Department of Justice, and a Supreme Court clerkship. Lisa Jackson, vice president for Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, will retire in late January 2026 after leading climate, sustainability, environmental impact, and DEI-related efforts.
