Arsenal has announced that Jorginho and Kieran Tierney will depart the club when their contracts expire on June 30. Jorginho, who joined from Chelsea for £12 million in January 2023, is expected to sign with Flamengo after making 79 appearances for Arsenal. Tierney, acquired from Celtic for £25 million six years ago, made 170 appearances and spent the last season on loan at Real Sociedad, now likely to return to Celtic. Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing for a new deal for midfielder Thomas Partey, whose contract also ends in June.
Jorginho and Kieran Tierney will leave Arsenal upon expiry of their contracts on 30 June, the club have announced via their retained list.
Jorginho joined the Gunners in a 12m deal from Chelsea in January 2023 and made 79 appearances before signing for Flamengo.
Tierney, who made 170 appearances for Arsenal, is set to rejoin Celtic after a loan spell at Real Sociedad.
Thomas Partey's contract is also set to expire, but discussions for a new deal are currently underway.
