United Rentals launched a Business Intelligence Agent built with Snowflake and deployed it to thousands of frontline employees across more than 1,600 branches. The tool answers natural-language prompts to analyze financials, customer data, and operational questions, replacing manual dashboard navigation. Employees can ask queries such as "which of my sales representatives are discounting the most?" or "which customers should I focus on today to collect revenue?" Three months of pilot testing and a four-hour hackathon preceded the public launch. The release is designated a beta and includes a "thumbs up, thumbs down" feedback mechanism and use of Snowflake's Cortex Code.
