"Faster playback speeds: You now have the ability to fine-tune your playback speed up to 4x in 0.05 increments on more devices. Before, this was only available on Android and iOS devices through youtube.com/new, but now it's available on the web. Jump ahead: Last year, YouTube rolled out an AI-powered "Jump Ahead" feature that lets you skip to the good parts automatically. This is already available on Android, iOS, and web browsers, but now it's available on smart TVs and gaming consoles, too."
YouTube Premium is receiving several new features including finer playback controls and improved audio options. Subscribers can now adjust playback speed up to 4x in 0.05 increments on more devices, with the web gaining the same controls previously limited to mobile. The AI-powered Jump Ahead feature has expanded to smart TVs and gaming consoles.
