Get Tickets to Frieze by Painting a School Mural with EARNT
"Calling all art lovers! EARNT, the platform that connects people with VIP experiences across the city through volunteering, is offering tickets to this year's Frieze London in return for helping painting a mural. And it's not just any mural but a piece designed by artist Michael Craig-Martin, which'll be painted in a London school, to highlight the fact that access to the arts is limited and many state schools are lacking in basic art supplies."
"It is an absolute privilege to be able to participate in EARNTs program which supports both the schools and the arts. I know, from experience, that my use of vivid colours speaks directly to school age children and encourages them to explore their own natural creative instincts. The arts are an essential part of a rich and productive education, fostering the development of a child's imagination, self-awareness and self-confidence, while simultaneously encouraging diversity and social empathy."
EARNT is offering tickets to Frieze London in exchange for volunteer help painting a mural by Michael Craig-Martin at a London school to spotlight limited arts access and shortages of basic art supplies in many state schools. The mural aims to bring vivid colour into a children's space and encourage creative instincts. Volunteers will receive complimentary Frieze tickets for participation during the city's major art celebration. Sign-ups open at 12pm on Wednesday 1 October on the EARNT website and are expected to fill quickly. The mural painting will take place over a weekend in October 2025; the school address is to be announced.
