Though Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley was eligible to return from the injured list, it was reported that he may not be activated until Friday.
Snit said Riley was still dealing with a shade of discomfort today, so they decided to wait a couple days to activate him.
Riley landed on the 10-day injured list on July 12th due to a strained right abdomen. Skipper Brian Snitker said he did not experience a setback.
The Braves dropped Tuesday's bullpen game and fell victim to a 9-0 shutout by the San Francisco Giants.
