This article discusses the importance of selecting two-start pitchers for fantasy baseball leagues, providing strategies to help managers gain an edge. It highlights recent pitching changes within teams, specifically noting Jonathan Cannon's injury and the uncertainty surrounding the White Sox's rotation. The Royals' situation is also examined, emphasizing the potential of Noah Cameron should he remain in the lineup. The piece reinforces the necessity of ongoing monitoring and adjustments as the week progresses, ensuring managers capitalize on available opportunities.
With Jonathan Cannon landing on the injured list with a back issue, there isn't any clarity yet as to how the White Sox will replace him in their starting rotation.
The Royals are another team that I'm not real sure what they are going to do with their rotation just yet. Noah Cameron has simply pitched too well to be relegated back to Triple-A Omaha.
Assuming Cameron stays in the rotation and they go six-man this trip through, no Royals' pitcher would draw two starts. If they do the right things and boot Lorenzen, then Cameron would draw a two-start week.
Thinking ahead with your weekly strategy can give you an advantage on the waiver wire and hopefully be a difference-maker in the standings at the end of the season.
