"The Red Bull stunts are getting ridiculous. A few weeks ago, Matt Jones jumped his bike through a gap between two semi-trucks moving in opposite directions. Last year, Dawid Godziek did an entire slopestyle run across multiple train cars. Godziek starts his run, flips between ten different train cars, and lands in the same spot on the railroad tracks. And these are just Red Bull's special projects."
"Rampage and Hardline are now just "regular" events we anticipate every year. Now, the Red Bull BORA-Hansgrohe race team has tried something never done before. Or, even attempted, for that matter. Can nine elite races generate enough speed and watts to be able to launch a plane? To do so, they will need to reach speeds of at least 45km/h, with each bike connected to another, towing a plane."
Red Bull continues producing extreme cycling stunts, including Matt Jones jumping through a gap between two semitrucks and Dawid Godziek flipping across multiple train cars and landing on the tracks. Rampage and Hardline have become recurring annual events. The Red Bull BORA-Hansgrohe race team attempted an unprecedented experiment to determine whether nine elite racers can generate enough speed and power to tow and launch a plane. The riders aimed to reach at least 45 km/h while each bike remained connected, forming a tow to the aircraft. A video documents the attempt and prompts holiday-themed comparisons to Santa and his reindeer.
