Campagnolo has unveiled its Super Record 13 groupset, offering 13 speeds with innovative wireless electronic shifters while keeping the cranks and brakes largely unchanged. This groupset marks a significant evolution as it is positioned not only for road cycling but also for future adaptations, including gravel and time trial racing. Priced unexpectedly lower than its 12-speed predecessor, it revives the thumb shifter. Testing at Campagnolo's Vicenza headquarters highlighted its performance while teasing a broader platform with diverse configurations to come.
The real seismic shift is that Campagnolo Super Record 13 is a road groupset today, BUT it will be much more by the end of this year.
Campy calls this groupset "the first pillar of the new Super Record 13 platform", teasing multiple configurations that will cover everything from gravel to time trial racing!
