LOOK Upgrades KEO Grip Cleats, Now Grippier w/ Smoother Exits
"If you prefer not to look like you're moon walking and sound like your tap dancing when walking in your road shoes, you've likely tried LOOK's KEO Grip cleats. They're the ones with the rubbery patches underneath that provide traction between your road cycling ice skates and the ground. Now, they've been updated with a larger, more durable patch of grippy stuff on the bottom, plus a slicker backside to make clicking out smoother, too."
"The KEO Grip 3K replace the original grip panels, which were admittedly a little too easily worn or torn off, with a tougher material using a new co-bonding process that should help them stick around longer. The rear grip patch is also larger and a full centimeter wider for better stability. Yet they're also 15% lighter overall, so there's less rotational mass on your feet."
LOOK updated KEO Grip cleats to the KEO Grip 3K with a larger, more durable rubberized grip patch using a new co-bonding process to improve longevity. The rear grip patch is a full centimeter wider for added stability. Overall mass is reduced by 15% to lower rotational weight on the feet. The back lip is molded with a non-stick material infused into the composite to smooth engagement and make twisting out quieter, particularly for riders who micro-twist their heels. The cleats began shipping with pedals in December 2025 and will be available aftermarket starting in January. Three release angles are offered: 0º, 4.5º, and 9º.
