Marianne Vos won stage 1 of the Tour de France Femmes, finishing ahead of Kim Le Court to earn the first yellow leader's jersey. Vos received excellent support from her Visma teammates, who managed to control a shrinking peloton in the final stretch of the race. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot made a strong move by attacking inside 700 metres on the Côte de Cadoudal but could only secure third place. Despite efforts from Anna van der Breggen, she was unable to close in on Vos, who secured the win in the final moments.
