Why Casey Brown's Dark Horse Is Unlike Any Other MTB Event
Briefly

Casey Brown has significantly impacted the women's freeride scene by creating the Dark Horse event, which supports aspiring female riders. After a hiatus, Dark Horse returned to Revelstoke, showcasing a new jump line at her ranch. Teaming up with pro riders, Brown has developed a nurturing environment for young talents through her Dark Horse Academy. In addition to her competitive achievements, such as her participation in the Red Bull Rampage, Brown continuously fosters a progressive community within mountain biking while also promoting her hometown.
Casey Brown is a pioneer of the women's freeride movement, noted for her accomplishments, including being the only woman to ride in the 2019 Rampage Qualifier.
The Dark Horse event, initiated in 2021, provides a progression session for upcoming female freeriders and is modeled after the FEST Series events.
