Square Enix has unveiled Killer Inn, a fresh take on murder mystery games targeting multiplayer dynamics. Players are grouped into teams of 'wolves' and 'lambs,' where the primary objective for the lambs is to identify and eliminate the wolves, while wolves attempt to wipe out the lambs. As they play, wolves leave behind evidence, such as hair or clothing, which the lambs can investigate to deduce their identities. This innovative gameplay aims to capture audiences who enjoyed games like Among Us, with a closed beta set for release on PC.
In Killer Inn, players engage in a thrilling dynamic where 24 participants split into 'wolves' and 'lambs' to either hunt or evade each other.
Players will need to deduce who the wolves are based on clues left behind when a wolf eliminates a lamb, fostering a strategic gameplay.
