Bruins notebook: Fabian Lysell still trying to make his mark
"But I've been working hard, that's for sure. Every single practice, getting ready to play. I'll take that with me but...it's very disappointing."
"I got the games last year (in preseason) and I feel in way better shape than I have before, but everything's got to come into place pretty much right away to even have a chance. And that makes it harder. But it is what it is. Now I just have to look forward and continue doing what I'm doing and just focus ahead,"
Fabian Lysell has not appeared in game competition since the first two preseason games and was moved into the second group of players likely headed to Providence. Lysell failed to register a point in the early preseason games and did not distinguish himself offensively. He described the camp as the toughest, expressed disappointment, and emphasized that he has been working hard in every practice. He felt physically better coming into camp than before but acknowledged that everything must come together quickly to earn a roster chance. He expects the new system to be an adjustment that will ultimately improve him.
