Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain closes after 25 years in business
"Krista Kranyak, who opened Ten Tables "at a time when farm-to-table was still more philosophy than practice," said in the closure announcement that Ten Tables' last day of dinner service would be New Year's Eve. "Between now and then, we would be honored to welcome you in for one more Ten Tables dinner - one last cozy night in our dining room, one more round of your favorite dishes, one more toast in this room we've been honored to share with you," the post read."
"It may be the end of Ten Tables, but in Kranyak's post about the closure, the owner hinted at a new concept on the horizon. "In this same beloved space, I'll be reimagining what comes next: a new concept that honors the intentional, crafted, and change-making purpose that is my passion. I can't wait to share more soon," the post read."
Ten Tables, a Jamaica Plain bistro known for its farm-to-table menu, will close after 25 years, with the final dinner service slated for New Year's Eve. Owner Krista Kranyak announced the closure and invited guests to dine once more for a final cozy evening. Kranyak expressed gratitude to guests, farmers, and staff for their roles in the restaurant's run. The restaurant previously operated locations in Provincetown and Cambridge, which closed in 2014 and 2016. Kranyak indicated a new concept will be developed in the same space that honors intentional, crafted, and change-making purpose.
