This summer, the Brooklyn Public Library invites families to engage in its Summer at the Library program themed 'Color Everywhere,' emphasizing exploration and learning. Families can enjoy performances, stories, and art projects, all designed to foster critical thinking and prevent learning loss during summer break. All events are free, with book giveaways available while supplies last. Key support comes from the New York Life Foundation, which aims to provide all children access to educational resources and foster curiosity and literacy throughout the summer months.
"We believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and be inspired-year-round," said Heather Nesle, president of the New York Life Foundation.
The theme for this year's Summer at the Library program is Color Everywhere, encouraging children to read and participate in activities that enhance learning.
