A significant cannabis factory, containing over 1,000 plants with a street value of more than £1 million, was discovered in a repurposed Woolworths and Poundland building in Huntingdon. Officers were conducting anti-social behaviour patrols when they noticed signs indicative of a cannabis operation, leading to the raid on July 21. The plants along with associated growing equipment were confiscated during the operation. An ongoing investigation is in place, but no arrests have been made at this stage.
