Research from Culture Amp, based on 1.4 billion responses to 97 million surveys across 8,200 global companies (816 in the UK), finds a further 14 percent will seek new employment by 2027. Germany shows highest short-term attrition at 25 percent; the US reports the strongest long-term stability with nine percent intending to change employers by 2027. Globally, 20 percent plan to leave within 12 months; 41 percent cite career growth, followed by work-life balance (12 percent) and compensation/benefits (10 percent). Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X primarily cite career advancement; Boomers mainly cite personal reasons including retirement or scaling back work.
