Logan Paul filed an injunction in Texas district court against Heritage Auctions, alleging authenticity concerns over a Michael Jordan–signed section of United Center floor that he won at auction. Paul says he was not allowed to investigate the floor's authenticity before Heritage solicited payment, which was originally due Sept. 25, and was told he would lose his rights if he missed the deadline. Paul’s winning bid totaled $562,555.42 including buyer’s premium. Counsel Josh Bernstein requested a temporary restraining order and temporary injunction; the TRO was granted and a court date for the injunction was set for Oct. 9. Heritage marketed the item with extensive inscriptions and historical claims.
