The Sharks are trimming their training camp roster and seek payback after the Ducks, using a mostly NHL-ready lineup, beat the rookie-level Sharks 3-2. The Sharks will host the Ducks at SAP Center for the only home meeting between the teams. Arena banners have been corrected following a prior mix-up. The Barracuda announced their 2025-26 training camp roster after San Jose made deep cuts and placed several players on waivers. Only a handful of forwards and five defensemen remain with the Sharks to compete for final roster spots. Goaltenders are set with two on the roster.
