Hayden Large is an undrafted free agent tight end for the Chicago Bears after the 2026 NFL Draft. Logan Jones, his former Iowa teammate, describes Large as someone who is “super close” to him and whose story includes playing at Dordt before transferring to Iowa. Large played fullback for much of his time and later switched to tight end. Jones emphasizes Large’s love of blocking, getting his “nose in there,” and doing dirty work, along with leadership that influenced others even when he was not the most vocal. Bears head coach Ben Johnson also explains how the team recruited Large.
