White Sox give Robert more room to work on his adjustments at the plate - WTOP News
Briefly

The Chicago White Sox are giving Luis Robert Jr. a couple of days off to work on his batting adjustments. Manager Will Venable emphasized that resting Robert would alleviate the pressure of performance during his slump, as he has struggled with a batting average of .177 this season. In recent games, Robert has had one hit in 20 at-bats, contributing to a broader team slump as the White Sox sit last in their division. Despite lingering knee soreness, Venable believes it has not significantly impacted Robert's performance.
"He'll be available, but not in the starting lineup, just to give (him) an opportunity to really dial in some of these adjustments without just feeling the pressure of having to go out there and perform."
"He is putting in a ton of work and working extremely hard all throughout the day to try and get this thing right."
"There's some soreness, but I think that it's not more than any soreness that all these guys feel during the course of the summer and playing hard out there every day."
