Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs is away from the team again for his offseason rehab, this time opting to work with his specialists after a knee procedure in January. Unlike last year, when friction arose between him and the training staff, he's chosen to stay out of the facility entirely during the team's OTAs. Coach Brian Schottenheimer noted good communication regarding Diggs' rehab, while owner Jerry Jones expressed hope for Diggs’ commitment to his recovery despite a $500,000 penalty risk in his contract for absence from the offseason program.
I think everybody now has their own people that they use. It's kinda the day and age of football. But again, it's all voluntary. He's been in great communication.
I have a lot of hope that his actual rehab and experience from the time before is really helping him out. He's working hard.
