""The bedroom really is the most intimate space that you have in a home, and it deserves to be well dressed," says Laserow. "It's like a cocoon, so that's where we felt like we could give the textiles the proper attention.""
""When we started with rugs, it was really about breaking into this dusty traditional trade," adds Laserow. "With textiles, I want them to have character, but not take over.""
""It started off by shipping one small crate home," Jacqueline says. "Then it became a large crate. Suddenly, we were shipping statues home.""
Swedish heritage brand Nordic Knots expanded from rugs and curtains into bedroom furnishings with a 65-piece collection featuring bedding, romantic headboards, dramatic cushions, and cashmere throws. The collection presents nuanced neutrals, ambient accent colors, and statement patterns such as jacquard leopard and a large-scale chocolate-brown checkerboard. Founders Liza Berglund Laserow and Fabian Berglund plan to release curated linens and decor each season and emphasize dressing the bedroom as an intimate cocoon where textiles should have character without overwhelming the space. Jacqueline and Damien Harrison began collecting vintage outdoor furniture after visiting Les Puces, shipping increasingly large crates of 1940s wrought-iron chairs, garden urns, regency stools, and Royere-style iron armchairs until their warehouse became overwhelmed.
