Enrique Lores, a Spanish executive and HP president and global CEO for more than six years, will leave HP to become CEO of PayPal on March 1. Lores began his career at the company 36 years ago as an intern engineer and has served on PayPal's board for nearly five years, becoming chairman in July 2024. He replaces Alex Chriss amid a recent 15% revenue decline at PayPal. HP has named board member Bruce Broussard as interim CEO while it searches for a permanent replacement. Broussard brings over 30 years of leadership experience, including roles at publicly traded companies such as Humana.
