ABC7 Eyewitness News teams with sister ABC stations to support food banks across Southern California, San Francisco and the Bay Area, Fresno, and the Central Valley. All-day coverage on May 29 highlights the work food banks do to address food insecurity driven by rising food costs and other expenses. Viewers are encouraged to donate any amount to a Feeding America food bank near them. Every dollar donated can provide up to four meals. Donations remain in the community when made through provided links, and donors are asked to select the food bank that serves their Bay Area region. Additional ways to take action are offered for local communities.
