Daughters Lou Doillon and Charlotte Gainsbourg and grandson Roman de Kermadec attended the unveiling and helped reveal the new name plate reading Jane Birkin Footbridge (1946-2023) singer, actor, director. Guests recalled Birkin's personality and ties to both England and France, with remarks about poetry and transformation.
