The Cinema Femme Short Film Festival celebrated its seventh edition over five days, spotlighting female, trans, and non-binary filmmakers. Directed by Emily Broderick, with programming support from Peyton Robinson and other curators, 35 films were featured across three blocks. The festival expanded into the Music Box Theatre, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with community interaction. Opening night showcased a "Best of Fest Retrospective," with filmmakers discussing Cinema Femme's unique impact. Each screening included post-show Q&As, fostering honest conversations about the films and their creators.
"Places of Worship" director Bridget Frances Harris proudly stated how Cinema Femme really focuses on building a continuous community, one that lasts beyond the festival dates.

Despite being in its third year of in-person programming, Cinema Femme officially expanded into the beloved Music Box Theatre's main cinema, demonstrating its growth.
