'Edward Scissorhands' celebrates its 35th anniversary with a special debut
"It's one of the most beloved and most watched films during spooky season. "Edward Scissorhands" is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a little bit of a makeover! The film, which was originally released in 1990, has been enhanced by Dolby Vision and accompanied by cutting-edge Dolby Atmos sound and, for the first time, will be available on digital retailers and 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc."
""Edward Scissorhands" stars Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder and Dianne Wiest and tells the story of Depp's Scissorhands, an unfinished humanoid with scissor blades in place of hands who is taken in by a family and who falls for their daughter, played by Ryder. The newly restored version will feature plenty of bonus materials, including a behind-the-scenes featurette with the cast and crew revealing set stories. It'll also feature audio commentary by director Tim Burton and composer Danny Elfman. And the disc cover features new artwork."
