Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, known as RZA, creator of Wu-Tang Clan, presents his film, One Spoon Of Chocolate, at the Tribeca Festival. The story follows Unique, a military convict, who returns to a small racist town and uncovers terrifying truths about missing Black men. RZA has been developing the screenplay since 2012, overcoming writer’s block, and believes that artistic creation comes from allowing inspiration to flow. This project marks a continuation of his passion for action combined with deeper narrative substance.
I wanted to continue with the action. But I also wanted to play with substance. I got stuck with writer's block on it.
A Spoonful Of Sugar this is not, as Unique confronts a town's violent secrets and struggles to redefine his life.
