"Someone needs to fix a pipe at Marvel, because just a couple of days after the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday leaked onto the internet, Spider-Man: Brand New Day 's is out in the wild. After a fashion-it is the most astonishingly poor quality. It's so difficult to see, in fact, that it likely would have been dismissed as a fake, had Marvel and Sony not issued copyright strikes against every upload and wiped it from the internet."
"The leaked trailer is stunningly poor quality, and in the only version I've been able to find the result of someone filming a laptop screen with their phone, but seemingly without ever looking to see if it's in frame, all while someone slams doors in the background. But, despite this, the audio is there and at least confirms something about Sadie Sink's mysterious role in the movie. Look away now if you're avoiding even teaser trailer spoilers. (And no, it's not this video.)"
Two recent Marvel-related trailers leaked online in poor quality, first Avengers: Doomsday and now Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Marvel and Sony issued copyright strikes to remove uploads. Brand New Day will premiere July 31, 2026, and picks up after 2021's No Way Home, with Peter Parker erased from friends' memories and absent for five years. The leaked Spider-Man trailer is a phone-filmed laptop-screen recording with disruptive background noise, but audio suggests Sadie Sink plays a villain. Popular speculation points toward Shathra from the Astral Plane, while Sony works to keep the identity secret.
