T-Mobile's Starlink-powered satellite service now supports popular mobile apps to provide connectivity off the cellular grid. The service originally allowed messaging and later added photo, audio, and video support; it now enables key apps for communication, navigation, weather, and outdoor activities. Supported apps include WhatsApp for messages and calls, X for social updates, and T-Life for account and satellite tools. Many apps target outdoor users and can share location or launch satellite-ready features. The service is bundled with some plans and available as a $10 monthly add-on on others.
