A blindfolded listening test evaluated six popular over-ear headphones purely on sound in a recording studio in East London. Participants included Isabel Gracefield (producer, co-writer and head engineer at RAK Studios), Ian Lambden (audio post-production engineer), Steph Marziano (songwriter and producer), and Mike Kintish (award-winning songwriter and producer). The Nothing Headphone (01) had not officially launched at the time of testing. The Sony WH-1000XM6 was among the models used.
