As the name of the new "text to frame" feature implies, photos can now be shared to an Aura frame through a text message, and they will be automatically added to your library - but only from people you approve."

Aura frames can now receive photos via SMS from approved contacts, which are added automatically to the frame's library. Owners link their phone number to their Aura account in the mobile app and build a list of approved contributor phone numbers who receive invites. Only images from those preapproved numbers are accepted, and owners can restrict where shared photos appear to a single frame or selected frames. The feature is free for both owners and contributors if picture messaging is part of the sender's plan. Availability is limited to iOS and Android users with US phone numbers.
