Kayla Tanijiri hit two clutch free throws with nine seconds left to secure Birmingham's 61-57 road victory over Granada Hills. Tanijiri finished with a game-high 25 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Kiara Wakabi added 12 points and grabbed a crucial offensive rebound with 25 seconds left. Birmingham built an early 10-point lead and scored the game's first seven points. The Patriots improved to 23-3 overall and 8-0 in West Valley League play, extending their league winning streak to 32 games and positioning themselves for a third straight league crown. Victor Koopongsakorn guided Birmingham to Open Division titles in 2022 and 2024.
