Eight numbered sentences hide major U.S. city names by embedding each city's letters consecutively within the sentence. Each sentence explicitly contains the state's name as a hint. All hidden city names have at least six letters. An explicit example extracts LEXINGTON from 'The Kentucky bodybuilders will be flexing tonight.' The eight puzzle sentences reference Oregon, Alaska, Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, Illinois, Connecticut, and Texas. A prior puzzle from Mike Reiss produced the solution Placido Domingo and named Brock Hammill of Corvallis, Montana as the winner. A new puzzle from Robert Flood of Allen, Texas requests a historic female singer matching specific letter and anagram constraints and sets a December 18 submission deadline.
