The affected factories are currently resuming normal production. The company was listed by the Nitrogen ransomware group on a Tor-based leak website on March 12. The group claimed it stole 8TB of data containing more than 11 million files, including confidential documents and schematics tied to major customers such as Intel, Apple, Google, Dell, and Nvidia. The group published screenshots to support its claims. Foxconn has been targeted by threat actors repeatedly, including ransomware incidents in recent years, and its subsidiary Foxsemicon was targeted in 2024.
