Knobbe Martens seeks a Patent Scientist with a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field. The role involves reviewing client technologies for patentability, creating technical diagrams, writing patent applications with clear descriptions and claims, and handling cited references, amendments, arguments, and Examiner interviews. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently are required. Candidates will eventually take a patent law course and register with the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO"). Preference is given to candidates with artificial intelligence and machine learning coursework or related experience.
