In comes the 25-year-old João Mário, who has been signed for an initial fee of €11.4 million plus another €1.2 million in ancillary costs.
Going the other way is 21-year-old Costa, who heads to Porto on an initial €15 million valuation, resulting in a capital gain of about €2.3 million for Juventus.
Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until the 30 June 2030.
