"I mean, that was hard for me, because I had good days, bad days, but I had more bad days. I never gave up, but the last month to the postseason, World Series, I tried to get back too, but my arm, my shoulder was so tired because I was thrown all year trying to be back. One day, I said I want to stop, be ready for next year, and now I'm here. I feel great."
"Right now I'm in a good position. I feel great, my body. The goal is to stay healthy too. But yeah, I mean, I feel great. I feel great. I'm going to continue like that, and I'm going to be working hard too, and then ready to rock and roll."
"Right now, just throwing, like 200 feet, easy. But I think next we are going to start throwing bullpens to be ready for spring training. That's the goal."
Brusdar Graterol missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing right-shoulder labrum repair surgery following the 2024 World Series. Progress was limited through 2025, preventing him from making any Minor League appearances and leading to intermittent throwing and extended rest periods. Graterol reports his shoulder began feeling normal in January and he is now throwing long toss around 200 feet. Bullpen sessions are expected soon as part of preparations for spring training. The stated goal is to stay healthy and be ready for Opening Day while continuing a focused rehabilitation and throwing program.
