Tanner Scott, pitching on the second night of a back-to-back, retired two batters before allowing a double to Cal Raleigh. Miguel Rojas led a mound visit to encourage Scott and remind him to attack hitters. An intentional walk and a hit-by-pitch loaded the bases, but Scott struck out Eugenio Suárez with repeated off-speed sliders to earn his 23rd save.
