'Trans power couple' to fundraise for kids' cancer charity despite safety concerns
"I lost my father to cancer, and there's a lot of cancer in my family. We've got friends who've battled it."
"Firstly, you're heroes. I can't imagine the pain. Stay strong, there's a huge community of people there to support you,"
"I honestly can't imagine anything more horrific,"
Hannah and Jake Graf are ambassadors for Children With Cancer UK and will take part in the Vitality Westminster Mile on 27 September with their children Millie and Teddie. Jake worries daily about his wife's safety following the UK Supreme Court ruling that the legal definition of a woman refers to biological women only. As parents, their greatest fear is their children becoming ill; Jake lost his father to cancer and has family and friends affected. Jake describes the charity's work as invaluable and encourages families facing childhood cancer to stay strong and seek community support. The Supreme Court decision has prompted the EHRC to publish non-statutory guidance on access to single-sex spaces.
