Minor thefts reported in Los Gatos over the weekend
"Sept. 19 JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 9:06 p.m. at Fisher Middle School on Fisher Avenue. A caller said that five juvenile boys were yelling profanities and set off a firework from the blacktop. The caller said they heard one big boom but did not see a firework. Police were unable to locate them."
"Sept. 20 TRESPASS: 5:11 a.m. at Wedgewood Manor on Lora Drive. A resident called to say that a person was sleeping in the hallway to the laundry room. They did not provide a description of the person, but believed that they were unhoused. Police cited and released the suspect. BURGLARY: 8:08 a.m. at University Avenue. Bolt cutters were used to open a fence and gain access to a building. Miscellaneous wire and power tools were taken from a work vehicle."
"Sept. 19 PETTY THEFT: 10:15 p.m. on Palmer Drive. A package was stolen off the porch. The caller said they had video footage."
Multiple incidents occurred across Sept. 19–20 in the area. On Sept. 19 at 9:06 p.m. five juvenile boys yelled profanities and set off a firework at Fisher Middle School; callers heard a loud boom but police could not locate the youths. On Sept. 20 at 5:11 a.m. a person was found sleeping in a Wedgewood Manor laundry hallway; police cited and released the suspect. Later on Sept. 20 at 8:08 a.m. bolt cutters were used to open a fence on University Avenue and miscellaneous wire and power tools were stolen from a work vehicle. On Sept. 19 at 10:15 p.m. a package was stolen from a porch with video footage reported.
