"A murder investigation has begun after a patient was stabbed while being treated by doctors at Charing Cross Hospital. Police were called to general and teaching hospital in Hammersmith, west London on Thursday, September 18 following reports of a stabbing. Ealing resident Andrew Farmer, 85, was pronounced dead by NHS staff on Thursday, September 25 after sustaining serious injuries. Anatoliy Podmazko, 70, who was also a patient, was charged on Saturday, September 20 with grievous bodily harm (GBH)."
