Cutty Sark station has reopened ahead of schedule following significant upgrades. The Docklands Light Railway station in Greenwich now features four new escalators, a lift, updated wall coverings, LED lighting, and a new fire detection system. Trish Ashton from TfL expressed delight at the early reopening, emphasizing the modernized and reliable facilities. Barrie Kelly from Visit Greenwich noted the station's importance as a transport hub and anticipated an increase in foot traffic during the spring and summer months. Previously, passengers faced 121 steps due to escalator outages.
