London's largest FREE flower show returns later this month
"More venues participate in the Chelsea display, which tends to be more compact, filling the main streets around Sloane Square, whereas Belgravia's display is more scattered around the streets. My tip is to get the maps off both websites, but start with Chelsea as it's easier to see more with less walking, and then wander over to Belgravia afterwards."
London’s largest free flower show opens to the public later in May 2026, bringing decorative displays to streets across Belgravia and Chelsea. The free tie-in with the paid Chelsea Flower Show includes Chelsea in Bloom and a Belgravia partner, giving local residents and businesses a chance to showcase ornate window and street installations. Chelsea’s theme is “Out of this world,” while Belgravia’s theme is “Fairy Tales of Belgravia,” with installations reflecting spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Displays run Monday 18 May 2026 to Sunday 24 May 2026 and are free to visit. Chelsea’s displays are more compact around Sloane Square, while Belgravia’s are more scattered. Maps are available online, with a suggested route starting in Chelsea and then moving to Belgravia. On Saturday 23 May after 4pm, many flowers are sold as the Chelsea Flower Show closes, creating a busy scene near Chelsea Bridge Road.
