Stephen Melzack, affectionately known as 'Elvis' by those at the hospitals, has dedicated his time to entertaining patients through music. After experiencing personal loss and battling cancer, he began volunteering at North Middlesex and Chase Farm hospitals, where his cheerful disposition and musical talent have brought joy to many patients. Over the past year, he has performed bedside for patients, particularly on the Topaz Ward, creating uplifting moments for those facing serious health challenges. His dedication reflects the powerful role of music in providing comfort and connection in healthcare settings.
