The flight will operate five times a week during the summer schedule. The inaugural journey featured festivities showcasing historical connections between Seattle and Copenhagen, and passengers were treated to a seamless lounge experience through Delta's Sky Club. The Airbus A350-900 used for the route enhances passenger comfort, making it a desirable option for business and leisure travelers alike.
The Seattle-Copenhagen route has been a highly requested destination, with many residents tracing their heritage to Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, creating natural demand.
As any business class journey should, my excursion began with a visit to the lounge. Although there isn't an SAS lounge in Seattle, I got access to Delta Sky Club.
The inaugural festivities kicked off with a celebration near the gate, featuring historic pictures of the original inaugural SAS flight from Seattle to Copenhagen.
Boarding was quick and easy on an Airbus 350-900, noted for being quieter and providing a more comfortable experience due to lower air pressure.
