Snapchat Discover enables users to browse fresh content on Discover channels daily. Major media companies including the Daily Mail, Vice, Discovery Channel, ESPN, CNN and Warner Music are participating, with additional partners expected. The Daily Mail has assigned a team of four to repurpose editorial content for the platform. Discover prioritizes editorial curation and artistic presentation over recency or popularity metrics, relying on editors and artists instead of clicks and shares. Editions include full-screen photos and videos, long-form layouts, and advertising, and brands can share music and video to Snapchat’s youthful userbase.
