De La Cruz control: Outfielder turning it around for RailRiders

Bryan De La Cruz's performance for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders has dramatically improved, as evidenced by his 5-1 victory against St. Paul where he hit a solo home run. Since May 14th, he has maintained a batting average of .339 in 16 games, hitting safely in 14 of them. RailRiders manager Shelley Duncan commended De La Cruz's hard work across all aspects of the game. De La Cruz struggled earlier this season but appears to be enjoying a resurgence with better batting and improved fundamentals after joining the Yankees' minor league system.
Since May 14th, De La Cruz has hit safely in 14 of 16 games, batting .339 with three home runs and 15 RBI, showcasing a significant turnaround.
